We design it. We source it. We make it. We bring it home. Somewhere in the world, someone can make almost anything. Our job is finding them, then getting closer than a catalog ever lets you.
01Rooms specified to the piece, not chosen from what happens to be in stock.
02Direct relationships with factories and workshops, evaluated in person.
03Modified or made new. Sampling, production and inspection, all one thread.
04Freight, customs, warehouse, installation. Handled, start to finish.
The other half happens on factory floors, in sample rooms, at trade fairs and in shipping yards. We're there for it, so our clients don't have to be.
We look at how a thing is actually built before we care how it's styled. The weave, the frame, the foam, the hardware.
An existing piece is a starting point. Dimensions, finish, upholstery and construction change to suit the room.
Sampling, approval, production, inspection. Then it's packed the way it needs to be to cross an ocean intact.
Delivered, installed, done. Freight, customs, warehouse and white-glove delivery are part of the job, not an afterthought handed to the client.
Downtown Dallas high-rise. Full furnish: indoor, outdoor, lighting and fixtures.
A private, editorial library of what we can source, modify and make: seating, casegoods, lighting, stone, kitchen and bath, outdoor, hardware and hospitality product. Not a store. A starting point for a conversation about your project.
Public and client views show what a piece is and what can change about it. Maker identity and factory pricing stay private.
Every entry begins as something we've seen, handled or made. Nothing in the book is a stock listing pulled from elsewhere.
Designers, builders, developers and boutique hospitality can source through the book on a trade basis.
Jessica Wynne Thomas · Founder & Creative Director
Jessica started The Bad BHouse because the rooms she wanted to build didn't exist in showrooms. So she went to the source: factories in Guangdong, sample rooms, trade fairs, and the long conversations with makers that turn a good idea into a finished, delivered piece.
She designs, she sources, she stands on the factory floor, and she brings it home. The Bad BHouse is that whole line of work under one roof, for clients who want something they cannot simply buy.
